We are currently looking for:
QC Scientist
Responsibilities:
- 1. Evaluate the chemical and physical properties of various organic and inorganic substances
- 2. Validate methods
- 3. Report data
- 4. Write SOPs
- 5. Validate instrumentation
- 6. Support Lab Manager with daily lab activities
Necessary Skills:
- 1. Good grasp of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry
- 2. Understanding of GMPs/GLPs
- 3. Understanding of manipulation and data entry into Excel spreadsheets
- 4. Understanding of Microsoft Word
- 5. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be detail oriented
- 6. Good communication/organizational skills and the ability to work with others are essential
Experience Required:
- 1. A BS Degree in a scientific field or related area
- 2. Two to five years experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry or a related industry (preferably in a GMP/GLP environment)
- 3. Experience with the analysis of proteins, peptides or nucleic acids a plus
- 4. Experience with Mass Spectrometry a plus
